Red Jacket was commissioned by Seacomb & Taylor (Boston), designed by Samuel H. Pook, and built by George Thomas (Rockland, Maine). The Red Jacket was named after a famous Native American leader of the Seneca tribe, known for his oratory skills and diplomacy.
Our kit is designed for expert modelers. Her plans are the finest available, based upon the most current research. The kit contains our famous carved hull, along with a great deal of etched brass, pewter fittings, etc. etc. etc.
