Take a walk on the wild side with this 1963 Pontiac Grand Prix Coupe! This two-door muscle car features the sleek, athletic styling for which the Grand Prix nameplate was known for. It comes dressed to impress both collectors and enthusiasts alike, with Marlin Blue exterior Paint that is complimented by an exceptionally clean Aqua Blue Interior. Powered by a Period Correct 389 V8 2BBL engine that is mated with a automatic transmission with floor shift, this handsome devil is eager to take a stroll down memory lane.
The Grand Prix first appeared in the Pontiac line for the 1962 model year, as a performance-oriented replacement for the Ventura, which became a luxury trim level of the full-size Catalina. It was essentially a standard Catalina coupe with minimal outside chrome trim and a sportier interior (bucket seats and a center console). The performance-minded John DeLorean, head of Advanced Engineering at Pontiac, contributed to the development of both the Grand Prix and the GTO.
This is an excellent example of the original factory built car. in very good condition, with a few minor flaws: oil leak (approximately a teaspoon amount each drive), rear bumper has minor blemishes, passenger fender trim has a few scuffs/small dings, the inside rear mirror is discolored. It comes equipped with options and features that are perfect for any true classic car enthusiasts.
