HMS Sphinx was a 20-gun sixth-rate warship of the British Royal Navy, built at Portsmouth and launched in October of 1775. This is Vanguard Models’ latest kit release. It is their most comprehensive design to date, incorporating a vast number of pre-cut and engraved parts spread over 33 sheets of mainly pear wood, with high grade MDF used for the skeleton.
This wooden ship kit includes double planked hull, laser cut parts in MDF, photo etched brass, cannon barrels, Walnut dowel, colour instruction manual, masting and rigging drawings.
