The Classic New York Harbor 85′ diesel tug boat is a timeless vessel that has been a staple in the bustling waters of the Big Apple for decades. This model boat kit is the first in Bluejacket’s new line of “Great American Work Boats”.
It is designed for the less experienced builder and is popularly priced. Like so many of Bluejacket’s more recent kits, this tug has been designed with a carved base wood hull (approx. 80% of the final shape), laser cut wood for items such as the deck house, etched brass and custom cast Britannia metal fittings.
